IN-STeP as an employer

IN-STeP believes in the philosophy that it’s most important asset is their competent, skilled and professional staff. IN-STeP aims to employ staff in an accountable and fair manner ensuring the most suitable candidate is found for available positions.

The Manager of IN-STeP is responsible for the recruitment of IN-STeP staff and at their discretion may seek further input from the Management Committee or workplace Supervisors during the recruiting process.

For staff to operate effectively they will be provided with appropriate inductions, training and guidance during the probation period. IN-STeP considers its staff to be its best asset and also believes it is essential that employees have a positive approach to working with the organisation, hence the professional development of staff is a priority and offered to all staff annually.

IN-STeP is a family friendly employer that cares about the well being of its employees.

The organisation also cares about the community and operates a ‘Giving Back to the Community’ program that allows staff to apply for volunteer roles that provide a service to the wider community.

In return IN-STeP asks all employees to give of themselves in their role and provide the best service possible to the members of our community. Ownership, initiative and passion are more than words to IN-STeP; they are the characteristic of our staff. Our employees work in accordance with the IN-STeP Employment Contract, IN-STeP Policies and Procedures and the IN-STeP Employee Handbook.
