New Beginnings

The ‘Community Work Skills’ program is designed to assist disadvantaged Queenslanders to develop new skills and successfully reintegrate back into the workforce, No Cost to Participants training.

This program offers participants an opportunity to further develop their employability skills through;

Accredited training;

  • Certificate III in Community Services
  • Certificate III in Business Administration

Topics covered;

  • Effective job searching
  • Mentoring and Support
  • Resume Preparation and Writing
  • Job Search Advice
  • Interview Skills
  • Driving Lessons

To participate in the New Beginnings, our target group include;

  • Women re-entering the workforce
  • Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders
  • Mature aged, 45 years and over
  • Culturally & Linguistically Diverse
  • People with a disability
  • Disadvantaged job seekers
  • Priority given to those that are currently under-utilised or unemployed
